First Steps
This class is for students ages 3 and 4 who are interested in learning what dance is all about. No experience is required for this 45 minute creative dance class incorporating simple song and dance routines. The major emphasis is on pre-ballet movements and tumbling on the mat.

Angelina Ballerina
Angelina Ballerina Dance Academy classes are taught through a nationwide network of top quality dance studios. Your child will receive a quality dance education in a caring and fun environment, all based on the beloved Angelina Ballerina character. The Angelina Ballerina Dance Academy curriculum is designed by internationally renowned master teachers and child development experts. Ballet/Tap/Tumbling
This class for 4 through 6 year olds combines 30 minutes of ballet movement, 20 minutes of tap rhythms, and 10 minutes of developmental tumbling. It covers the basics of movement found in all dance forms. The goal of Ballet/Tap/Tumbling 4 - 6 is to foster creativity, freedom, and expression in movement, and a love of dance.

Kinderjazz/Hip Hop
This is an energetic class for children who want a faster paced class than the ballet/tap/ tumbling class. It incorporates one or two creative or interpretive components in each class and focuses on the coordination and balance required for jazz and hip hop movements with the physical development of the 5 to 6 year old in mind.

Ballet/Tap/Jazz
This beginner program is divided into 3 distinct styles, allowing the student to take the most popular forms of dance in one class. Age appropriate work is introduced in all 3 disciplines each week that develops the dancer in a fun and systematic way.

Boys & Girls Jazz/Hip Hop
This beginner program allows students who are generally 6 to 8 years of age to take the 2 most popular forms of dance in one class. The jazz/hiphop class teaches fundamental jazz steps and combines the elements of hip hop moves and contemporary music. Students learn the necessary elements of jazz which are crucial to success in hip hop, but also get to learn hip hop moves which require the coordination and balance learned from jazz.

Recreational Jazz/Hip Hop
This class combines the latest moves in jazz and hip hop for an exciting and energetic class. This class is a great way for students to have fun and express their personality and exuberance through dance.
- Ages: 9 - 13
- Skill level: Beginner and intermediate
- Shoes needed: Black jazz shoes
- Girls' attire: Black dance shorts and black, white, or pink t-shirt or dance top
- Boys' attire: Black dance or sweat pants, any solid color t-shirt
Ballet
Ballet classes are offered at the beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels. Students learn ballet fundamentals in the classical style. Beginning Ballet is for 6 to 8 year olds wishing to start. Intermediate Ballet is for students who have mastered Beginning Ballet or the equivalent and wish to pursue the more advanced aspects of Ballet. Advanced Ballet is for students who have mastered Intermediate Ballet or the equivalent. The ballet classes focus on developing the dancer's individual personality and style of dancing while introducing specialty elements. Combinations are taught quickly, and they are technically challenging.

- Attire: Black tank leotard, pink tights. Ballet skirt is optional. Hair neatly up in a bun

Tap
Tap classes are offered at the beginner through advanced levels, including an adult tap class. Tap was born on the streets of the U.S.A. and started as dancers tried to match rhythms they heard in their day to day environment. Tap is made of intricate ankle and foot work with a focus on rhythm and sound clarity.

- Attire: Black dance shorts and black, white, or pink t-shirt or dance top. Hair in a "messy bun"

Intro to Ballet- Adult/Teen (non-recital)
Ballet is not just for kids! Whether your goal is to gain flexibility, relieve stress, acquire a graceful posture, take up a new hobby, pick up where you left off as a child, or enjoy moving to the music, this class is for you! The beauty of ballet is that students of multiple levels can practice together, including beginners. This recreational class provides a comfortable, encouraging atmosphere for adults who want to explore the world of ballet. The class meets on Wednesday evenings from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.
- Ages: Adults (18+)
- Skill level: Beginner
- Shoes needed: Ballet shoes preferred or thick socks if need be
- Attire: Comfortable leotards and tights if you wish or work-out attire such as yoga pants and a t-shirt
Competitive Teams
Each year our teachers invite students with talent, commitment, and a good team spirit to participate in a variety of competitive classes. These students then compete in festivals and competitions in the Spring.
